The Evolver is a hybrid monosynth.
hybrid means its partly analog and partly digital.
monosynth is a synth that can produce only
one note at a time.
despite that limitation the Evolver is a very flexible tool that can be used in many forms of sound synthesis; subtractive, Sync, Fm, filter FM, wavetable, ring modulation and even Karplus-strong.
when i first got it i decided to make a track using only the synth with no external sound processing.
i did use external reverb.
that was how Cornucopia was made.
being very pleased with it I've made my mind to continue working in that method till i have a whole album.
and that is Debut repetitions.
(i didn't use the reverb again, only the synth internal delays.)
sometimes limitations can make you very productive.
